Authentic temperature retention performance data.
We test all our tumblers in genuine Dubai environmental conditions—not controlled laboratories—because we want to provide accurate expectations for the extreme climate you actually face. For the Pastel Mint 30oz tumbler, we conducted comprehensive thermal retention testing during peak summer (July-August) when outdoor temperatures consistently exceeded 45°C and car interiors reached 65-70°C. Test protocol: filled the 890ml tumbler with water at 4°C (typical refrigerator temperature), added standard ice cubes from a home freezer, sealed the flip straw lid completely, then exposed the tumbler to real UAE scenarios—left in vehicles parked in direct sun, carried in non-insulated gym bags during outdoor activities, stored in air-conditioned offices, transported during errands around Dubai. We measured internal temperature every 2 hours over 36 hours. Results: After 12 hours, water temperature measured 5°C with 65% of ice still solid. After 24 hours, temperature was 9°C with ice fragments present. After 30 hours, water reached 11°C—still refreshingly cool.
Real customer feedback: 'I teach sunrise beach yoga at Kite Beach. I fill my Pastel Mint tumbler with ice water at 5:30am, and by the time I finish my afternoon clients at 2pm (8.5 hours later, tumbler sitting in my car), I still have ice and perfectly cold water. Dubai heat doesn't stand a chance.' - Layla K., Yoga Instructor
